Optima partnered with a large UK retail bank to design and implement the data strategy underpinning their Personalised Experiences & Communications Platform. The work focused on building a strong foundation for data governance, product readiness, and scalable adoption as the bank modernised its technology and migrated to GCP.

Context:

The bank asked Optima to work alongside colleagues to develop the data strategy for their ‘Personalised Experiences & Communications Platform’. This continued into developing the detailed design spec for the core data product – Perso Core.

Outcome:

  • Provided a clear roadmap and governance model, ensuring engineering teams could build with confidence and align to future tech strategy

  • Enabled personalisation use cases to be prioritised based on value realisation and data readiness

  • Ensured the effective management of data across PEC & CCO

  • Enabled the effective management of data governance from day one

  • Socialised best practices for data products including processes and governance frameworks

  • Built out the ‘pen portrait’ for Perso 360 including current and future use cases

  • Brought Perso 360 to life with customer use cases
